The Rosemount is a huge corner pub with plenty of traditional character, serving a wide mix of clientele. There are three large rooms, each with their own personalities and characters and the front two rooms can become lively at peak periods, though more sedate and relaxed during the week. Whichever room you end up in the welcome is friendly and the service friendly. There is a mix of entertainment, karaoke on a Sunday and live music sometimes on Friday or Saturday night. The pub dabbled for some years with stocking several guest ales at the same time but demand at the time was limited and it reduced to one at peak periods. The back room has been turned into a games area, with multiple darts boards, now very popular with a younger generation, along with pool.
