Formerly the Rovers Return and before that Lord Nelson, this is a traditional local housed in a 200-year old building. This one-roomed L-shaped pub is deceptively large. The bar is opposite and on the right as you enter and the pub extends a long way back on the left. A raised area surrounds the bar with a mixture of low and high tables on the lower level. The bar currently has a set of 3 handpulls and a second set may be added if demand is sufficient.
