Entering from Station Road, there is a full height, wood-panelled space with a curved staircase leading to a small mezzanine area that also gives access to the toilets. Steps lead down to the rear area with tables given over more to food. There is a mixed clientele of all ages and it can be quite crowded at weekends. A small area on either side of the central entrance is very popular on warm sunny days bringing an almost continental cafe feel to the frontage. A small beer garden is located outside at the rear, this is popular in good weather. Music may feature on Friday evenings. NB. There is a disabled person’s toilet on the ground floor, accessed by a ramp.
